Waltz with Bashir is a tale of a 19 year old Israeli soldier in the 1982 Lebanon war. Later as a 40 year old man, the main character recieves a strange feeling to go deep into the root of experiences during the war. The reason for this article is not neccesarily to talk about the movie but of the effects of war and the need to ascend to higher spirituality and live pecefully with all.

Throughout history men and women both young and old have risked their lives for freedom and peace. Some of the soldiers may not have neccesarily volunteered, as seen in Israel and many drafting countries, and were fighting to stay alive. These means of fighting may be seen by some to help get to the end goal but as we can see, these wars around the world and in particular in the middle east are only continuing, so why should someone fight and risk their lives just to survive for additional future wars. WHAT IS THE IDEA OF THAT!Even if they did survive major psychological effects change the everyday of life for these soldiers and their families.

Solution must be made and what I believe is for all sides to open up and listen to the other. We can all live together and we must educate the new generations not to hate. Hopefully in a few generations down, we will all live in peace. Many say, “that’s how the world is…”, but I don’t buy that. If we were created to follow then we wouldn’t have been born in our human bodies.
